In partnership with Salmon Scotland, NFU Scotland and Homes for Scotland, Diffley Partnership conducted a major new Scotland-wide survey of more than 3,000 people through the ScotPulse panel. The findings have now been published in a report named Scotland's Rural Voice.

The research generated over 2,000  responses from rural residents and over 1,000 responses from urban residents, all sourced from the ScotPulse panel.

According to the survey, more than half (57%) of rural residents are satisfied with the sense of community and belonging, compared to 36% of urban respondents.
